Some helpful tips:

It's flea & tick season!  To help protect your pet:

  • Apply a topical flea & tick control product monthly.  We carry Frontline Plus for dogs and cats and Advantix for dogs only, both products kill ticks that can transmit Lyme disease.  (We do not recommend Advantix for households that include cats.)
  • We now offer Recombitek Lyme vaccine for your dog, which helps to block the  transmission - from tick to dog - of the spirochete that causes Lyme disease.
  • Brush your pets frequently during tick season and conduct thorough tick checks.
  • If you find a tick attached, remove it promptly with tweezers. Be sure to kill the tick.  Please feel free to call us with any questions.
  • For flea infestations in cats & rabbits we carry Advantage & Revolution & Capstar.  We also stock an assortment of flea infestation killers such as area "foggers" & sprays.
